This question implies that fries were made of meat previously, which is not true.

French fries are always made from potatoes and oil regardless where they are served from.

Supposedly this is true, they originally used to fry their fries along with their chicken nuggets and any other fried meat they serve, as well as added 'meat flavoring' derived from guess what? Meat. About a year or two ago there was enough people that complained and now they supposedly fry their fries separately and in vegetable oil. Though like Taco bell and their rice, some chains have not changed their way of cooking foods, so it is best to just ask whether or not their fries at that location are vegan. I think most chains have changed their ways to accommodate the growing demand of healthier options... though fries and anything else fried is still not healthy... Though Burger King claims their fries are vegetarian friendly, I still ask that location, just be nice about it and they normally don't mind.

(In reply to the one that said all fries are vegan)

Mcdonalds uses beef in their french fries as a flavoring ingredient. They were sued and lost the case because of this.

ANYWAYS Burger King at this point does have vegan fries. You can read about it in the source.

Yeah they are. But its kind of pointless going to Burger King considering that fries and a salad with Italian dressing are the only two vegan things there. You can make a much better and cheaper salad at home. Also homemade fries are delicious. So there is very little reason to go to most food chains if your a vegan.

In the UK at least, McDs and BK's fries have always been vegetarian as far as I'm aware. In the US, McD's fries had flavouring added that was beef-sourced up until relatively recently.

Some places fry veggie burgers in the same oil as chicken etc, however fries are done separately. To the best of my knowledge, both BK and McDs fries are now vegan-friendly on both sides of the pond.

The fries are not vegan. They never have, never will. They are Burger King. They still take potatoes, slice them, deep fry them, ship them off, put on salt, deep fry them again, and serve to you.

No. It is probably just a lie to get people to eat at burger king.

if you mean that there from vegtables yes they are from potatoas
