Most of the same stuff you do. Mashed potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce, vegetarian gravy (which is actually really good even if you eat meat). I had some spicy mushrooms but other than that it was the same as the rest of the plates on the table...and for desert, PUMPKIN PIE!!!! yum yum!

tofurkey is gross to me.

I'm a vegetarian and celebrate with a bunch of vegetarian friends. We each bring a dish and have a huge assortment including all the traditional plates such as sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing, salads, rolls, pumpkin pie, wine. This year, we also served turkey, since we had some non-vegans at the dinner. But for the most part we just feast on non-meat food. No tofu or meat substitutes were served.

I sometimes will get a Tofurkey or Field Roast for a main dish. I have also made timbales (mushroom and wild rice, mmm) and croquettes (lentil, most recently).

My family usually leaves the stuffing/dressing on the side, so we just use veggie broth instead of chicken/turkey. Most of the other dishes are vegetarian anyway, especially since I do most of the cooking. I make cranberry sauce from scratch, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, rolls, veggies (carrots, peas, Brussels sprouts, green beans... whatever). With dessert, I just have to watch our for pie crust if I don't make it myself, as many frozen ones contain lard.

I also make divine, rich, wonderful gravy.

Hi! They eat vegetables and meat replacement (go in the natural/organic food sections they have things like meatless chicken patties, meatless turkey etc). They even have tofu turkeys. If they are true vegans/vegetarians then they're not supposed to eat any meat. Take care.

When we had family in town who are vegetarian, we served a tofurkey! I love tofu, but the tofurkey was kinda gross...

The turkey is really the only meat served at Thanksgiving, vegetarians can have all the side dishes.

We eat food. Thanksgiving does not mean a person HAS to eat turkey. Last year I had Baked stuffed acorn squash, mashed potatoes w/ vegetarian gravy, apple and cranberry stuffing, sauteed green beans.

I had Thanksgiving at my vegetarian aunt's house one year and she did a fantastic homemade spanokopita as the main dish. Not traditional - but VERY yummy!

Most of the sides are vegetarian anyway.

They actually have turkey for vegetarians it is called Tofurkey and you could eat other stuff just stay away from gelatin (gelatin is made with crushes up animal bones)

A lot of different things. This year I ate stuffing, mashed potato's, sweet potato, rice, corn, string beans, cabbage and beans with bread on the side.

they usually eat fo turkey
