I am 17 and am contemplating on becoming a vegetarian. However, I wonder, what if I start eating meat?!

You might get sick if you jump back into eating it too quickly, but if you transition back slowly you shouldn't have any negative side effects (except some people might give you crap about it.)
I would not recommend starting a solely vegetarian diet to begin with but that is your choice. Humans are Omnivores not Herbivores or Carnivores, meaning are bodies were designed to eat both meat and plant life. I am not here to argue for against your choice as most of these people that voted on this issue/question seem to not value an honest opinion.
You won't feel well if you go back to meat in full force. So if you start eating meat in tiny portions the first few times, it gives your stomach the ability to start digesting things that's been foreign to it for quite some time. So start out with small portions and then larger portions so your stomach can adjust.
Hello Keira
Well you either get back up and start again the next day as a vegetarian, or you continue on eating meat. Stop worrying about your future and if you fail because you will put yourself off. Start enjoying your new pathway and just see how you go ok. I am sure many have had slips ups etc.
you'll be fine. i did the same thing when i was 15, but i did it all wrong, i didnt get protein and got really sick, if you get protein from vegatarian sources like, soy, you'll do fine and eating meat wont have consequences. good luck.
well not really any you are old enough now 2 decide on what you eat . personally i love meat and most meat has a lot of protein in it
none because meat is delicious.

none what so ever
You could upset your body for a while, but you would get used to it again. Why become a vegetarian? I understand if you are against overdoing it to the animals, but we have to eat, many animals themselves are carnivores, and for killing the planet reasons, think, plants filter our air, animals pollute it some, plus they can become overpopulated.
You'll get an upset tummy the first time you eat meat, but that's it.
I've known two veggies who returned to their natural omnivorous ways.
