Can anyone recommend a really good Vegan Christmas Pudding that I can buy in the UK?!

The Somerfield one was recommended but I can't find a Somerfield as they have been taken over by Co-Op.

Hi, Sainsbury's sell a good vegan christmas pudding. You have to be careful though since although their standard one is vegan, the "luxury" brand uses egg to hold it together. (Apparently us vegans don't deserve luxury!)

Kite Wholefoods do a really good one which is available by mail order (you would have to send them a cheque, though). They also make the vegan Christmas pudding for a veggie & vegan hamper company that I've just used (the hamper company rep told me this on the phone), although I don't know if it's the same recipe. Links to both below.

You may also want to check the Vegan Society website, as they usually list Christmas products that are suitable for vegans. I know that last year many big stores like M&S offered puddings that were suitable for vegans, although this can change year-to-year so it's worth checking with the Vegan Society to get up-to-date info. If you can find the Matthew Walker traditional pudding, I know that it is vegan-friendly - just be sure to avoid Matthew Walker's 'The Pudding' in the black box as it includes cream. I just tend to also avoid hydrogenated fats and palm oil if I can (unless it states that it is sustainable, which most don't), so I prefer Kite as they don't include either.

Merry Christmas!

Co-op should do it aswell, just with the co-op sticker on it, or you can ask in there and see if they do it?

googel is always another good one :)

most xmas puds are, i know sainsburys used to be, but i heard they have added milk or whey or something, so best to double check.
