How to not starve yourself on a liquid diet?!

Question: How to not starve yourself on a liquid diet?
I'm thinking of doing a week of juicing and maybe soup. After this past Thanksgiving I'm needing a detox because of all the rich food, drink and salts. Any healthy ideas for helping the starving feeling? I was thinking raw veggies. Again its just a week of this with some exercise. After the week I am going to maintain the exercise of course and at a greater intensity b/c I won't be on the liquid diet. I don't have a certain amount to lose, I just want to feel better and have more energy.

Answers:

Don't go on a liquid diet it messes up your blood sugar and makes you hungry all the time because it's mostly sugars and no fiber. Do a raw vegan diet instead so you get lots of fiber and protein to fill you up.

Hello

You could do a week of juicing fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water. Have a look at the sites below, plenty of free information ok. I wish you all the best.

I've done a liquid diet before, I did a juice fast for a week and then after that week I ate so much that I almost threw up. I do not recommend fasting of any kind, but if you where to do a fast, juice fast is probably more satisfying. Buy a juicer and fresh fruit.

Vegan

On a liquid diet you always feel hungry, and you'll probably feel urges to pig out once you start eating solid foods again.
Just eat a lot of veggies and you'll feel good.

I wouldn't recommend doing a liquid diet, there is no way to not feel starved on it. I would just eat very light and healthy this week. Grapefruits are filling and light.

How about not doing this something so ludicrous like that so called diet at all? I don't care what your reasoning is for wanting to do that.

Detoxing is useless. You're body does that naturally. Just eat healthier, drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest.
