its just not very nice, i tried some and its rather 'bitty' under your teeth. like someone chucked some sand in it. try others first. better still.... make your own, then you'll know its veggie. its quite easy to make really.

Try another brand...I don't think that that product is very healthy! For example where is pachked and produced? The real recipe comes from Italy..try to select a bio pesto.

As far as I know there is no such thing as vegetarian Parmesan, as they all use calf rennet, and therefore this pesto wouldn't be vegetarian.

However you can get pesto made using different types of hard cheese, so home-made or another brand could possibly be vegetarian.

if the cheese was made using the same process as all other pesto cheese, no, as they put it through calf lining
