Egyptian Shark Attack - Cruelty to Sharks?!
I know it's a tragic and horrific event that a woman has been mauled to death by a shark in Egypt, but is it really necessary to torture the shark on capture as they have shown on the news?
Yes, with all due respect, maybe it was the right decision to execute it, now it has the taste for human blood in order to prevent further casualties... BUT
Animals don't think rationally like we humans (or at least most of us) surely they shouldn't be held fully accountable for their actions. They act on instinct, and they have as much right to the oceans waters as we do (on ethical terms).
It has been indicated that there shouldn't of been swimmers out at that time anyway, as well as the fact that the WRONG shark was captured only to be executed after a brutal torturing session?
Is this really right, fair enough, execute it, make it quick and clean, there is no need to put the animal through further torment, what good does it do? It's just an animal trying to survive. Once again, my heart goes out to the family of the victim, but surely the torture of the animal just isn't right, it's not like it had a real choice like humans do before they murder someone. Not only was it the wrong shark, but it just seems wrong to put an animal that cant be held accountable for it's actions through excruciating pain for no logical or constructive reason.

Human eat animals all the time, and it's totally normal, so why are they being so hypicritical. "survival of the fittest" as the dumb meat eaters say. IF a human can eat a shark, than a shark should be able to eat a human.

The shark saw the woman as food so it killed her, just like humans do to animals everyday.
The ocean is the sharks home not the womans, she had no business being in it, what happened to her was her own fault.
