No i've always been quite thin but my weight doesn't really change because i maintain it through daily exercise.



When I first became a Vegetarian, I weighed about 120 pounds. Within the first few months, I went up and over 188 (quit weighing myself at that point, though I know I gained more due to my pant sizes going up). Had little to do with Vegetarianism and all to do with being put on medications--One increased my appetite and the other decreased my satiety (ability to feel full).

Three years later, I finally lost all of the weight (had yo-yo dieted and lost, gained, lost, gained the weight many, many times during the three years). Went from 165 to 120, while maintaining a Vegetarian diet, by making a lifestyle change with my food choices. :)

Maintained 120 pounds even after going Vegan two years later. Maintained the 120 until I started working the night shift and quit smoking in the same two-week period. Gained ten pounds due to one or the other and am currently still fighting with those stubborn ten pounds, six months later.

So, in summary: My weight has fluctuated from about 120 to probably over 200 pounds in the past six or seven years that I've been a Vegetarian (Vegan for the past year).

For the record, I'm 5'2 or 3. 200 pounds is a LOT when you're this short. :P



I weigh 118lbs.
I've been vegetarian since I was five, at which time I probably weighed about 40lbs, so I've gained about 80lbs since then.
I started transitioning to vegan right after Halloween. Then I weighed 135lbs, so I've lost nearly 20lbs since then. I'm 5'5", so it was a healthy weight, but so is 118. I'm pretty sure I only lost the weight because I was probably eating too much cheese before.



As of an hour ago, 173. I'm six feet tall and I was/am probably full of milk, so I think that might contribute. (I just pumped an ounce and three week old son is stirring, so I'll have to get up and feed him.) Before my pregnancy I weighed 144. When I did take the time to eat, it was whole, real food at least. For my height, my weight is good, but I'm still not fitting into anything but one pair of suit pants and one skirt (maybe more, I just haven't taken the time to try them on), and can just barely squeeze into a pair of khakis. Therefore, when I go out, I still wear maternity jeans. (I wear sweats at home; I'm a SAHM) At least I'm wearing regular shirts.

I've been vegetarian for almost six years (six years in March of next year) and vegan for just over five. I lost weight with both diet changes, partially because I was more aware of what I was and wasn't eating and because I began to get active then as well.

With my weight fluctuations over the years even with two pregnancies (for the past four years I've been either pregnant and/or breastfeeding) I've probably lost about 30 pounds. (Not counting pregnancy gains)



1.) 5' 10", 154 lbs (But, I'm on a diet and am trying hard to drop to 130-135 lbs by April).
2.) I was vegetarian for close to 2 years, then became vegan. I've now been vegan for 5 months.
3.) Being vegetarian, and now vegan, has never changed my weight because weight loss and gain is about calories and exercise.

echh, how tall are you? what have you been eating?

and no i didn't really loose much, i've been vegetarian for about 10 years, i started at 15-16. so i gained a bit since then. but these past 2-3 years i haven't been eating right and i went below. i'm 115 now, the lowest i've ever been. the most i weighed was 127 and that was like 4 years ago and it only lasted about a month :( gotta get my life back on track. i'm 5 feet 6. and i always had the smallest bones even as a 5 year old.

I have lost 3 lbs because I still eat everything I want. I think I do eat a lot :/ lol. I really need to start eating a little less. But vegan food is so satisfying and healthy to me that I don't feel guilty indulging lol.

I'm jealous of chelsea lol. Thats my goal to get to115-18!! I'm about 5'5 as well.



I weigh 115lbs right now. I lost about 3 or 4lbs when I went vegan, just naturally from cutting out chocolates and most fizzy drinks et cetera. I'm still deliberately losing weight though, my goal is about 100-110lbs. I've been vegan for about 5 months. :)

I've been vegan for about 10 years. Going vegetarian I didn't lose anything, but I lost about 10 pounds from going vegan. I haven't changed weight for about... 8 years or so.
