It's more expensive then conventional.
"Organic Valley" is one of the top dairies for organic milk.

Yes, it's more expensive because it costs more to produce milk without injecting cows with hormones and to actually have land for them to walk around on. My favorite milk substitute is Almond milk. Soy milk is another popular alternative that are plant based but still carry the same consistencies as milk with less cholesterol, less fat, no hormones. Oh another advantage is the shelf life is much longer. A half gallon of Almond or Soy milk will easily last a month whereas you are lucky to get 10 days out of cow' s mucus milk.
Horizon is a big organic milk brand. It's pretty good, but I don't recommend their chocolate milk. It's not a whole lot more expensive than regular milk at my Kroger, but I can't tell you the exact difference.
Edit: My bad, I think a half gallon of Horizon cost about the same as a full gallon of regular non-organic milk.
It can be double the price of regular milk, but on sale it can be cheaper as well. The problem is som eof the big brand isn't that much different from regular milk that has no BSG. FDA diluted the meaning of Organic.
It is a little more expensive but it worth it Oberweis dairy is a good brand.
Most Supermarkets sell it its about 50p more than ordinary milk ,
