At lunch.. what should I pack?!

Question: At lunch.. what should I pack?
At school literally EVERYTHING has meat in it. The side dishes and even the salads! I usually end up eating bread. I don't get it..

I'm vegetarian and I want to actually eat at lunch. What should I pack that I can fit into a lunch box or something?

Bruschetta

you could buy some of those little plastic containers and fill them with different things that you can assemble at school nice and easy, kinda like a vegetarian lunchable . for tomorrow you could take a couple of taco shells, diced tomato, guacamole, refried beans, corn, salsa and lettuce and make tacos. you could also do it with a small premade pizza crust, pizza sauce and cheese, just like a real lunchable, lol.
don't forget the fruit and veggies. cut up some carrots, broccoli and an apple (or whatever you like)
and take that too. also try dried fruit like cranberries and apricots.
you can make a sandwich or wrap with avocado, tomato, lettuce, pickles etc. you could also take something like falafel or vegetable fried rice. you cold make something like spaghetti if you don't like eating cold. you might want to ask a teacher if they have a microwave in the teacher's lounge that you could use.
you could also get a thermos and fill it with soups and chili and stuff.
if you want something sweet you could throw in a lara bar or something like that.

my high school was like yours. good luck :)!

My main is usually:
-soups (premade or homemade; lentil, minestrone, black bean, tortilla, etc)
-pasta dishes (pasta salad especially)
-sandwiches (pbj, fake meat, etc)
-pita bread with hummus and veggies
-any leftovers (casseroles, samosas, curries, etc)
-marinated bean salad

Sides:
-any fruit, fresh or dried
-veggies (with dip if you want)
-crackers with nut butters
-granola bars
-dry cereal
-chips and salsa, guacamole, or veg refried beans
-unbuttered popcorn
-they have these really yummy veggie chips at my grocery store- they are just veggies, oils, and sea salt (baked, not fried), and they're really yummy
-trail mixes

If you want dessert, I usually take some dark chocolate, or a cookie, but you can take whatever you like :)

It's totally worth getting a good thermos, I use mine basically everyday.
