A lot of people seem to have problems with leaking, and a few have motor problems too.

If you get this blender, get the warranty!

If you can afford a VIta-Mix, though, go for the gold.

I'm poor, so I have an Oster. It's ok - I can make great smoothies in it. It processes right through kale and almost anything I give it. But it is not powerful enough to make nut butters or anything - I do that in the food processor.
