Have you used homemade deodorant? How well does it work?!

I have not personally used it, but one of my "generic Pagan"/earth goddess type friends ONLY uses homemade beauty and hygiene products. She's passing the habit and requisite skills/knowledge on to her teen daughters. It seems to work well as it can get over 100 Fahrenheit where I live now in the summer and they never smell funky. They also always look good. Of course I don't know which recipe for her deodorant she uses or anything but it does work (for her).

I don't use deodorant at all (don't need it). Many people find they don't need it if try going without. Shower daily and shave your armpits and they won't smell.

I have never used Homemade deodorant but want to use, so please tell me the place from where i can get it.
