Are dried fruits as healthy or healthier than non-dried?!

Question: Are dried fruits as healthy or healthier than non-dried?
Wondering if dried mangoes had more or less nutritional value than mangoes (pre-dried)?

Raw fruits, in their naturalest state are the healthiest form of produce. It's even healthier for you to juice them and drink it.

Stick to the whole fruit most of the time. Even unsweetened, non-sulfured dried fruit isn't as good as fresh. For one thing, it contains no water (water being an essential nutrient for life). It also has a lot more sugar than the fresh version because it is so concentrated, so by volume it is a lot more caloric. (You often do end up eating more calories, of course, because it is less volume.

Dried fruit is a lot better than candy, but you should still take it easy and eat more fresh.

Hi, dried fruit actually has a higher concentration of nutrients since by definition the fruit has been concentrated when the water was taken out.

It does contain a bit more sugar though.

Dried fruits are high in sugar since they are concentrated, so they are not as good.
