Raw eggs can contain salmonella. So, probably not.

Yes, it's perfectly fine.
I'm a vet and I often recommend mixing a raw egg into the food of dogs in the following cases
a) Pregnant and/or nursing bitches
b) Post surgery animals
c) Sometimes in colder weather we can all do with a boost, your dog will benefit from a raw egg in winter

One answerer gave a statistic that only 1 in 30,000 eggs is infected by salmonella but his source was buzzle.com, a blog entry which did not give sources itself.

The CDC says it is 1 in 20,000. They also mention that the risk is multiplied in a restaurant where many eggs are mixed together in a large batch to be served to many people, who will all be exposed.

Found this link, be it fuman or dog consumption.

Claims that statistically, it is like 1 in 30,000 infected with salmonella.

Dogs have a heartier system and eat/drink a lot of what we humans consider filthy or unsafe.

To you, your biggest risk are vet bills. Most likely death won't occur, but a sick dog may cost you in time to care for your dog. Good luck!

I've actually had vets suggest it for dogs that were malnourished so I'm pretty sure that in moderation they will be fine.

yes it of course raw egg is good for dogs diet - it's known to everyone including the cops.

i would ask the vet cause my parents give the dog egg if there sick

A human can eat raw eggs so I'm sure a dog can

they eat their own crap, so yes eggs are a step up
