Can you send the mostly "vegetarian" fish eaters and those who for whatever reason are going to opt out.?!

Question: Can you send the mostly "vegetarian" fish eaters and those who for whatever reason are going to opt out.?
I used to post and answer here often. It's a good place to come for answers without joining a group. I know it's frustrating for people that are true vegetarians and vegans to have people say they are vegetarian yet they still eat fish. I still eat some fish my diet is about 80% vegetarian. It has been my goal to stop eating fish but I am having doubts I will ever get there. I am tired most of the time even with a balanced diet that includes some fish. It's gotten worse when I cut it out. I do respect those that are vegetarians I do try to avoid the using the word vegetarian unless I am trying to get a vegetarian dish. I prefer a mostly vegetarian diet.

I did find a forum for Pescatarians it's fairly new. It's not active enough I'd like it to be like here. I am asking you to save the link I give below and start posting it and emailing it to people who have with their fish in their diet or suggest eating it to vegetarians. Here and on vegweb or wherever you see this. They can come to the right place and discuss their diet and stop telling people that eating fish is vegetarian. You can also send the people who wish they they could be vegetarian but realize they may have to give up for whatever reason. Suggest it as an alternative to going back to eating a diet of entirely slaughterhouse animals. Send the young people who can't become vegetarian until they can move out of the house. This not a forum for people who eat mammals or birds btw. I don't know where to send those who think chicken is vegetarian for example.

I still come here for answers to my vegetarian questions since that is the bulk of my diet. Where it's peritinent I admit (which is most of the time) I am not vegetarian when posting here. Please pass the link to people are regular posters so they can send more people.

Some on this pescatarian forum are trying to be the best animal advocates that they able to be, Some eat no dairy or eggs, mammals or bird but eat fish, some are ovo-lacto pescartarians. The smaller percentage just like here are are just doing it for health reasons only and are not concerned animals.
As for best answer, Say yes and something positive about the fact that you now have a place to send people and give credit to people who for the most part are trying what they feel they can do to help the "cause". Fish eating is not cruelty free or in many cases enviromentally friendly this is a topic of discussion on this forum.

Answers:

Thanks for that link. It looks like a reasonably balanced (and peaceful) forum. There's not a huge amount of vegetarian-bashing going on (there is a tiny bit, but I guess that's only to be expected) and I didn't detect any animosity at all directed towards mammal/bird-eaters. Though, the more members you get, the more likely you are to get some who hate certain other groups. The moderator/s seem to be in fairly good control of the site (unlike Yahoo! Answers). I'll certainly do my bit to direct pescetarians there. Thanks again.

Vegan!

Pretty great rant, but I don't see an actual question in there anywhere. I live and let live because that's the way this world works.

yay thanks

I'm glad you recognize Vegetarians do not eat fish. Thanks for giving us a tool to give to others. :)

Also, as far as feeling tired all the time--Have you tried beans? Beans have iron (which is why I'm assuming you eat fish), and while it isn't heme iron, it does the trick for me--I was horribly anemic before I went Vegetarian. Gave up all meat (never ate fish, so I didn't have to give that up, lol) and anemia disappeared.

Best of luck!

Edit: What is the cause? If you don't want to answer publicly, feel free to drop me an e-mail. :)
