Raw Vegan "Spaghetti" Recipe Question?!

Question: Raw Vegan "Spaghetti" Recipe Question?
I've gotten into eating a lot of raw foods and I love it, I feel great. But I'm still learning a lot about what foods to make and it's a bit overwhelming. I made a raw "spaghetti" today, and it didn't taste good at all. I reallllly want to be able to enjoy eating raw foods but I don't know too many recipes yet that taste great.

This is how I made it:
I blended tomatoes, onion, garlic, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, dates, olive oil, some salt and pepper, I also sprinkled some hemp seed ontop; and I made noodles with zucchini (using a grater). It looked very delicious and beautiful, but tasted almost spicey because of the raw onion and garlic, it was honestly too gross to eat.

If anyone has any tips or any truly delicious recipes, even another "spaghetti" type one, that would be soooo great!

Answers:

Use carrots, squash, and zucchini for the "noodles". Make a sauce with avocado, nutritional yeast, basil, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper.

Raw Brownies - Ingredients: Dates, any nut (I like using cashews), and raw cocoa. 1 cup of date, 1 cut of nut of your choice, and 1/4 cup cocoa. Let it sit in the fridge for about an hour before eating.

Raw Soup - Make it "creamy" by blending in avocado. Ex. For a red pepper soup just put in a red pepper, jalepeno, lime juice, onion, water, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Try experimenting with different vegetables, etc.

Raw Granola - Get oat groats, soak them for about 5 hours, and dehydrate. Add in dried fruit, goji berries, nuts, seeds, and some raw nut milk.

Fruit "soup" - Blend a banana and peach with water. Cut another banana and peach into cubes, mix together.

Try making different kinds of salads, lettuce wraps, vegetables w/dip, sprouts, make raw yogurt with coconut meat, and if you have a dehydrator make raw breads/crackers.

Good luck :)

Use more Oilve Oil, Pited Olives

Raw Onion will make it terrible

What is it against the heat, if you cook it will be much better

I'd GREATLY reduce the amount of both onion and garlic (they can become very overpowering in raw dishes... a very small amount goes a long way... if you want the onion, I'd suggest using red onions, and definitely NOT yellow), while still including them. Personally, I'd skip the date (I don't like sweet in my spaghetti sauce). Have you considered a wee bit of crushed basil?

One thing that might help is also refrigerating the "sauce" you've made for at least an hour before eating it... it will help the flavors to blend a bit better and be more consistent throughout.
