hi, thanks for answering my question. well i have to say i have no idea because i have never tasted bacon or sausage. but from what i hear from my friends, nothing tastes like meat except meat itself. soya beans come closest.

No. Most commonly available fake meats are made from soy. They're highly processed which is generally not a good thing in foods. I've had a few soy fakes and, IMO, they're yukky. But if you want to spend the $$$....
