there are 2 kinds of proteins: complete and incomplete. Incomplete proteins are easy to get since all foods have them. Complete proteins, however, come from meat, diary products, and soy. Other sources of complete proteins come from food combinations:
beans + rice
beans + corn
beans + nuts (any)
beans + seeds (any)
beans + wheat
rice + nuts (any)
rice + seeds (any)
rice + wheat

Milk. Eggs. Tempeh. Lentils. Beans. Tofu. Quinoa. Peanut Butter. Almonds. Rice. Broccoli. Potato.

Hey. Care to guess which diet is more nutritionally-deficient, between vegetarians and omnivores?

Most meat eaters get more than twice the protein they need in a day and most food contains some protein. All of that protein adds up so as long as you eat enough calories from healthy food you can get enough protein without any animal products.
