What should a vegan order when getting sloshed at a bar or club?!

Question: What should a vegan order when getting sloshed at a bar or club?
My eighteenth birthday is coming up (enough said). So I'm wondering if I should be watching out for any drinks that are generally non-vegan, and what are some cocktails and other drinks I can order? :)

Answers:

Hi, I usually go or something like vodka and orange juice (or other juice if you prefer it!). A lot of spirits are vegan, so you can mix those with juice for a fairly strong but nice tasting drink.

Here's a list of brands which are suitable;

If you go to the top of the page they also have links to what brands or beer or wine are suitable.

Hope you enjoy your birthday!

http://barnivore.com is a a good resource to find out whether your favorite booze is vegan. Bars can be tricky though, since sometimes you don't know what brands of liquor they're using for your cocktail. It's probably best to stick with vegan beers until you find a couple bars that will be your favorites/frequent haunts & know what brands of liquor they use or request certain brands. Other than that, just stay away from anything with dairy in it, like White Russians, or anything with Bailey's, etc. Actually, I've heard of a few cocktails that have raw eggs in them too, but I can't recall their names.

If you're just looking for opinions, my favorite drinks are a vodka tonic, and Southern Comfort with just a little ice & some lime. But, if you're new to drinking, you might not like a vodka tonic & straight SoCo would probably be really strong for you.

I wouldn't drink alcohol or anything if you're a vegan, it will probably destroy your weak and frail meat deficient bodies.

The solution to all your problems can be found in a 1/2 pound burger with bacon grilled onions and cheese.
