Hi. TY for the info on Tropicana... I did not know that... :(
Here's my list of foods I think aren't known to not be vegetarian:
-Twinkies (contain beef fat)
-Most soups (contain chicken broth)
-Most alfredo sauce (contain chicken fat)
-A lot of cake mixes in the box (contain animal fat)
-French fries from restaurants, not just from McDonalds (fried in with other meats)
-Some white sugars (although it's rare these days, some companies still bleach their sugar with bone char or bleach itself)
-any fried food from restaurants (usually fried in with their meat)
-Worcestershire sauce (contains anchovies)
-Certain sauce packets and certain salad dressings (anchovies)
-Most deli pastries or baked goods (may contain shellfish)
-McDonald's cherry and apple pies (contain animal fat)
-Most Mexican restaurant beans (contain either lard or chicken broth)
-most chewy candies contain geletin
-some yogurts contain geletin
-marshmallows have geletin
-a lot of cheeses have rennet
If you want the list of foods that are thought to be vegan, well, that's a whole 'nother category.

Most cheeses have rennet, the lining of a cows stomach added.

If you take vitamins make sure they don't have gelatin in them :)
Um, I just have a little bit of info for you. Vegetarians just don't eat direct meat. Vegans are the ones that don't eat ANYTHING with animal byproducts in it. So, you're NOT a vegetarian. You're a vegan. :D
