In moderation, cheese is healthy because of the calcium content. However, processed foods aren't really that healthy and too much dairy can cause digestive problems.

It is neither healthy or un-healthy.

You can't simply divide food up like that, it isn't a black and white issue.

If you only eat a small amount of it - it isn't detrimental to your health. If you were starving and malnourished, it would help prevent death - but that doesn't mean it is 'healthy' If you are already fat and overeat - then eating a ton of swiss cheese is un-healthy.

If I said it was healthy - then you gorged yourself on it and gained weight and gotten sick - then what would you say it was?

You can't divide every food up as either healthy or not.

It's not exactly the best food in the world as cheeses do tend to be high in calories and fat, but if eaten in moderation can be a really good part of a healthy diet! Dairy can be a good way to get calcium in your diet, as well as other nutrients, and protein.

Define healthy! Like all cheeses, Swiss cheese is fine in moderation. Don't be afraid of your food, but eat sensibly!

Only if you just eat the holes.
