I usually have a green smoothie for breakfast, though sometimes I'll have another later in the day, too!
My basics:
3 T hemp seeds (very rich in protein, vitamins, and the good fats!)
1 banana
blend those together with some water to get a nice, thick milkshake. You can drink it like that for a treat, or for more nutrition:
Add 1 peeled orange or lemon, or some berries, or some pineapple.
Add about 3-4 cups greens - chopped kale, baby spinach, beet greens, romaine lettuce, even parsley, cilantro, and/or celery.
Add 1 tsp spirulina powder.
Blend with enough fresh, filtered water to make it go!
Sometimes instead of the hemp seeds, I'll use some chia seeds soaked in water, or some soaked cashews. Cashews and hemp seeds both make great "milks", and chia acts a little different but also thickens and adds a great protein boost.
High in protein, fiber, and highly bioavailable nutrition and energy!

i have chocolate soy milk, frozen bananas, & soy protein powder from an organic store [:
blend it together & it tastes amazing too :P
or use vanilla soy milk and pick another fruit(s)!
