You don't want to kill a virtual dog, but a virtual human is ok? I'm not saying that the killing of virtual people or animals is good or bad, but your standards are a bit odd. Why is the killing or a virtual human ok, but not an animal. In my opinion, it is a game, your not really killing anything.
To answer, yes there are attack dogs in black ops. If you are in multi-player it is a kill streak of 11. If you are against shooting them in multi-player you can simply allow them to kill your virtual soldier. Unlike real life you simply respawn a moment later.
yes, they are only virtual dogs though, so therefore cannot be classed as animal cruelty.
