Hi, no offense but it doesn't sound like you actually understand the reasons behind veganism.
I'm a vegan, but I don't think someone should do it if they're not actually passionate about the reasons behind it. It's not that we feel it's wrong to "take" the egg from the chicken. It's about the way the chicken is treated and what happens to her afterwards.
Maybe you should look into it a bit before you try to do anything.
Vegan
You are so lucky your parents brought you up as vegetarian. My parents didn't even want me to be vegetarian and I want to be vegan!
I would take it slow since it seems alot harder than being vegetarian. I am going to start by taking out the obvious like milk and eggs, and go from there. :D
check out this website. maybe it will help. :)

I'm happy to announce that the book is now available at her website, .... I want to inspire others to eat more healthy, plant-based meals and move more. ... On the Cover of the Vegetarian Times · Shmoo Review: 101 Natural Healthy Eating .
Study all about it before you start.
Malnutrition at your age could be nasty.
Serious advice.
Hi, I'd suggest doing a little proper research on this.
ask Santa for a couple of cookbooks.
Unless you live in a cave and raise all your own food, it's impossible not to "take" anything from animals. The walls in your room contain animal slaughter byproducts, the paint ont he walls, glue in your schoolbooks, the electricity running your computer, those plastic shoes were made with machines lubricated with animal byproducts, sidewalk on, roads you ride on, all include byproducts from animal slaughter.
Be a vegan if you wish, but don't ever pretend you don't use "anything" from animals. If you live anything like a normal life here in the US, it's simply not true.

If you don't want to take anything from animals, you might as well not eat, since eating ANYTHING would be taking food away from animals.
