Sunny D isn't juice! That's just chemicals!

If you're using store bought, only use 100% juice.

Yes you can drink water. No, you can not drink sunny D!
Just fresh juice from your juicer.
Next time read u on how to fast properly before you begin.
If you have already drank things like sunny D then you are wasting your time and needlessly making yourself miserable.
If you are hungry, then make yourself another glass of juice.

Sunny D is poison...loaded with chemicals and like 5% or less real juice. Fasting is NOT healthy and will not help your skin. It's called starving yourself. Avoiding crap like Sunny D will help you a lot more than starving yourself.

haha i so know what you're talking about, juice fasting to help your skin. I've had adult acne for years and found that a day of juice fasting once in a while can be really helpful.. I can only do it for a day or so though-I do get very hungry if I go longer than that.

As I said in my other answer to you, yes you can certainly drink juice from the store, as long as it is 100% juice. You can find great tasting carrot juice, grape juice, cranberry juice, fruit smoothies, etc from some great companies like Welch's, Odwalla, Ocean Spray, Bolthouse Farms, amd Arthur's.

If you're starting to crave food again, have some raw vegetables like celery (very cleansing). Eatinng sweet potato fries (like the ones McCain makes) is also good for the skin, as it contains lots of Vitamin A. Red apples (such as Galas) are also good for the skin as they contain a lot of pectin.

You might also consider taking Milk Thistle and Dandelion in capsule form, as these are also very good for digestion.

After you break the fast, try going vegetarian. Eat pasta, baked potatoes, sweet potato fries, cooked broccoli, sugar snap peas, etc Cut out dairy milk (Rice Dream is a better option), cut out refined sugar products, cut out meat (as it is hard on digestion) and you might even consider cutting out wheat if you find you have a sensitivity to that too.

After two weeks of eating vegetarian, my skin cleared up considerably, like by 90%. I tried to go back to eating cookies once a day but that messed up my skin again so now I'm back to drinking 100% fruit juices and eating more raw fruits and veggies (and cashew nuts). But the first two weeks when I cut out sugar, my skin became much softer, my acne disappeared, and even some long term scars that I'd had for 10 years started to fade. So it can really help you to do this.

But don't worry too much if you start to have cravings for "real food" after 2 days of fasting. I've heard of people going on 7 day juice fasts but it looks pretty hard to me. Maybe try looking at Youtube videos to find others who have done that. But if you start to eat more fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds , you should be ok. Maybe not peanuts, if you have an allergy to those, but the rest of the nuts should be ok.

Good luck :)
