I don't shop at Kroger.

I live very close to a Meijer. They're only around in a few states. Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. So I shop there more often than Kroger. Otherwise, I would shop at Kroger the majority of the time. I also live 45 minutes away from a Whole Foods and make a monthly shopping trip there. I wish there were more Whole Foods. The first time I went there I literally could not stop smiling. I was in vegan heaven. I kept biting my lips so people wouldn't see me smiling like a dumb goof.

Vegan

I'm vegan and I've never been to a Kroger since I live in upstate NY. The only grocery store I shop at regularly is Wegmans, which is like the god of all grocery stores. :) Once every month or two I'll take a trip to the closest local health food store which is about a 20 minute drive away. Other than that I shop farmer's markets & my own garden more than anything in the summer.

I feel like I'm always there! I swear, my family needs to go buy something at least once every day, and since my sister and best friend (whom we consider family) work there, it's the store of choice. I love that they're expanding their organic sections, and that Kroger brand foods will sometimes be labeled vegetarian or vegan.

I never shop there. But I' keep hearing people say it has good veg food options. Maybe I should check it out sometime. Its just more far from my house than the grocery store I usually go to when I don't make the drive to wholefoods.

Well, where I live my Kroger has a pretty decent organic aisle with all of the stuff I need, I also like to shop at Whole Foods.

That IS actually where I do most of my grocery shopping. :)

Beaver, not having a grocery store would mean I had to eat meat? Because...?

no i think you should shop at a vietnamese store they have great vegterian food.

What is kroger?

no i only shop at whole foods. : )

They have to shop at grocery stores, without them they couldn't be vegetarians. Many people in the world don't have the luxury of fully stocked stores or money to pay for food. Many people have to eat whatever they can just to survive.
