How many calories do you think is in a whole pack of lentils (5 POINTS TO GREAT ANSWER)?!

Question: How many calories do you think is in a whole pack of lentils (5 POINTS TO GREAT ANSWER)?
I ask because it seems that one cup (after looking at one website) cooked is 230 Calories. Well, its 1:33 p.m. and I have already measured out 6 full cups of lentils into my mini bowl, which means I have already ate 1,380 calories so far! wtffff, that doesn't make any sense...

The brand is Jack Rabbit and it says 16oz, 1 pd, 453 grams and every 1/4 cup(32 grams) is 70 calories with 14 servings.

Now, I'm not good in math, but honestly, it doesn't make sense that a whole pack of lentil peas would equal 994 calories. If that were true, then a lot of vegetarians would be huge.

PLEASE HELP

You aren;t supposed to eat a whole bag in one sitting.

Go by the nutrition information on teh package. I am a bit confused becuase you give various info.

You should stick to one serving at a time. Lentils are Great for you specially when eaten with a Lot of veggies.

230 calories per cooked cup of lentils seems to be about right but you have to consider that they are super low fat. So if you only ate lentils for a couple of days you would be consuming hardly any fat at all.

Combine that with the fact that lentils are a really high in fibre so you are 'cleaning out' your body and I think it would make you lose weight (or maintain your current weight depending on what you eat on normal days).

Also, if you ate 2 packs of lentils a day you would be consuming 1,605 calories a day which isn′t too high (1 pack has 3.5 cups of lentils in to each pack is only 805 calories).
