It's actually .43 times your body weight (for ages 11-13).
So you would need about 54 grams a protein everyday.

Just learned this in nutrition class. :)



Generally, when you want to figure out your protein needs, you multiply your weight by 0.36...perhaps a little higher if you exercise, like around 0.42.

So around 45 protein a day would be good, or 52 as stated previously, if you exercise. :)



The Recommended Dietary Allowance for Protein Children ages 9 – 13 is 34 Grams of protein
needed each day.

Girls ages 14 – 18 46 Grams of protein needed each day
