Is synthetic beeswax vegan?!


Question: Is synthetic beeswax vegan?
I just recently became vegan, as apposed to being a veggie. I die my hair all then time. And I Use Manic Panic. It have 'synthetic beeswax' in it, and I wasn't sure what that was?

I've never noticed that on the ingredients list of any of their hair colors (I use them all the time too), and I'm not sure what it would be...probably some sort of vegetable wax, like soy or palm, but then I don't know why they wouldn't just say "soy wax" or whatever instead of "synthetic beeswax". I've noticed recently though that they've started labeling products as vegan so it's much easier to tell which are & which aren't. I bought a jar of hot hot pink not too long ago & "vegan" is printed in script right above the logo on the front of the jar. I have no reason not to trust that since they've always been a very vegan friendly company anyway. :)



If it's synthetic, it should be. You can always contact the company and ask, but I understand that the Manic Panic bottles (not the jars) are vegan.



I would think so. Anything synthetic indicates man-made to me..
