Can you wash soy nuts and then dry them out to desalt them?!
I'm making recipe jars and the recipe calls for unsalted roasted soy nuts.
...All I could find were honey roasted and roasted salted. >.<
I read somewhere where someone said to wash peanuts to desalt them, but I dunno if that was even a good answer or if it was different for soy nuts for some reason.

Yes you can rinse off nuts to remove additives, however they usually are kind of chewey afterwards unless given ample drying, or popping in the oven on a tray at low temperature setting to dry out. Also, residual flavor from the additive may remain on the nuts
