have you seen Food Inc?!

Question: Have you seen Food Inc?
Today i watched it in my Advance Topics class and before i thought it was going to be really gross. but as we started to watch it their was only a few gross parts. but overall i really enjoyed it. It didn't change me, i will still eat meat but now it is good to know what is it it!

what did you think after watching it?

Answers:

Yes, but I already knew almost everything it talked about.

It didn't change how I eat, but it did reinforce that it's important to know where your food comes from and how it got to your plate.

Yes. I watched it a long time ago and it was interesting but it didn't change the way I ate. My brother was the one saying "no more junk food." It took me tons of research to change my eating habits when I was working on a project about animal cruelty for one of my classes. My research really opened my eyes and I've seen MANY sides of both arguments but to me it still makes sense to be a vegan :-) I still think its one of the best decisions I've made, going on one year. I still continue to educate myself about it and it motivates me to stay vegan.

I have seen Food Inc. As someone who grows and cans my own vegetables and fruits it's made me much more aware of the companies I buy my seeds from, since I am not interested in supporting Monsanto, and it's made me more aware of what our neighbors are growing since I have no interest in being forced to burn the seeds my family has been passing on down since my grandmothers time. I've also been working harder to find local sources for products such as beef and pork, and we've begun investigating raising meat rabbits for our personal consumption. I grew up working on farms and have seen how things are handled and heard some of the stories about our food production system so Food Inc may not have been as much of an eye opener to me as it was to some. I was much more shocked when I watched King Corn and discovered exactly how much we rely on corn.

YES! Actulley just last night I watched it to cellebrate my being vegetarian for two years ( my aniversery was on the 13th) and as usual I got very sad seeing the two year old boy who died of food poisoning and the factory farms but I was very comforted knowing I don't contribute to it. You should try not to buy kind of that meat since you know about it now. It reminds me of this august my parents were driving us somewhere and I saw a truck called pork for the fork and cried so hard! I love that movie

Vegetarian

Yes, I watched it in my Nutrition class. I was already a vegetarian. I learned a lot from it.
The point of the movie was not to make people stop eating meat but I think they should consider buying organic meat and eggs. I mean, how can you watch that and continue to eat the hormones, antibiotics, and chemicals that are in meat?

Yep. Just about every "activist" vegetarian and anti GMO nut I've met wanted me to watch it so I eventually did. Didn't change me at all. However two of those vegetarians are now omnis. I converted them plus made them customers of my organic farm.

No I haven't seen it but I am aware of the cruelty that goes on. I would like to show it to my family but they won't watch it...go figure. But, I am proud to have it posted on my website so others can check it out.
