What are some popular Indian vegetarian recipes?!

Question: What are some popular Indian vegetarian recipes?
When I went to an Indian restaurant I ordered a sample platter but I had no idea what any of it was. So, does anyone know the names of more popular recipes that are usually served in restaurants?

1. Malai Kofta (vege-balls in a thick sauce)
2. Palak Paneer (spinach and cottage cheese)
Another hot favorite North Indian dish! This mildly flavored dish is super healthy too.
3. Rajma (red kidney bean curry)
Wholesome, tasty and very, very popular, Rajma tastes great even when served with just plain rice!
4. Mutter Paneer (peas and cottage cheese)
Serve Mutter Paneer with Parathas, Naans and even Jeera Rice.
5. Kaali Daal (black lentils)
Kaali Daal is also known as Ma Ki Daal (mom's lentils) because it is so wholesome and delicious!
6. Chole (chickpea curry)
Serve this crowd pleaser piping hot and accompanied by pooris/bhatooras (fried Indian bread).
7. Bhindi Ki Subji (stir-fried okra)
This simple dish tastes great with hot chapatis (Indian flatbread) or parathas (pan-fried Indian flatbread). Team with a dish like Rajma and you've got a terrific vegetarian meal.
8. Aaloo Paratha (potato paratha)
This stuffed flatbread is best eaten with chilled yogurt and your favorite pickle or chutney. Want to be naughty? Aaloo parathas taste delicious with fresh, thick cream or a knob of unsalted, home-made butter!

also they mostle have dal butter fry (yellow dal) , subz mela/subz lazakedar (gravy with vegetables),
paneer makhanwala (which is like paneer in something like tomato gravy) and many types of naan and rice. this is mostly north indian food there's a ton of south-indian food too! it just depends where you go!
enjoy!
