It's definitely sold in Australia (it's common in supermarkets but not restaurants), maybe New Zealand too.
I usually see them in the form of steaks and sausages. The meat is rubbery, the taste is strong and distinct, but it's lean meat.
I have never seen it offered locally but out of curiosity I went on line and found several exotic meat companies that offer kangaroo - kangaroo sausages, kangaroo patties, kangaroo medallions, etc., etc.
No i think it would be hard to find (if not illegal...not sure though) I think online would be your best bet. Maybe some specialty meat shops? (If those even exist) Be careful with that sort of stuff!
