I'm a vegetarian going to a sleepover, help?!

Question: I'm a vegetarian going to a sleepover, help?
so my friend's having a birthday party and I'm going to sleep over with other friends at her house as she lives far away. But I'm vegetarian, and first of all, she doesn't know, second of all, I don't want to be an inconvenience, and it's only for two days, but I don't know what to do about the food aspect of it. We are friends, but not close enough that I can rummage through her fridge and make something for myself. I don't know what to do, please help :)

gee, just tell her, she'll understand. if you're close enough to have a sleepover, then i'm pretty sure it's acceptable to tell her, as long as you don't come off with an attitude. then she'd probably make something for you, and once she pulls food out, suggest helping to prepare it. simple as that.

lol you make it sound like your friend is a carnivore. Surely there are foods she'll offer that you can eat! We have a vegetarian friend too and don't worry, it's not hard at all to accommodate her. In fact, we're fascinated by her diet, respect her for her willpower, and promote healthy eating :) There's no problem/hassle

You can also bring your own snacks (ie trail mix) if nothing else there suits your appetite

Just tell her. It's only gunna be two days so I doubt you'll be much of a nusence.
Breakfast: Cereal? No meat.
Lunch: Cheese sandwhich etc? No meat.
Tea: Pasta, etc? No meat.
It's not that difficult. I'm a vegetarian and whenever I stay at my friends I eat pretty much what they eat, without the meat! Be honest. I hope this helped. Best of luck!

It's good to be Vegetarian.

Take only selected food-items and don't just take anything to maintain the society.

Self-Experience

Bring a jar of nut butter with you-she is sure to have bread, veggies and fruit available. I imagine eggs will be available for breakfast, or dairy of some kind. That should be good to get through 2 days.

umm ok?!? its not that big of a deal, millions of people are vegetarian! instead of being scared or shy, you should be proud and try to teach ur friends about healthy eating and helping animals :)

i love meat.

You are going to have to tell her if you want to eat. If she is your friend she will support your choice and try to accomodate you.

you can just tell her that you're trying to be a vegetarian so is it ok if you bring your own food.

Maybe bring some food with you,Or just ask if you could have something to eat without meat.or tell her your vegetarian.im sure she'll be okay with it.

Just tell her and bring you own food supply when u sleepover her house.
It's not a bad thing when you are vegetarian.

2 days probably won't hurt. Just eat whats on the table, your lucky if its vegetable.
