Vegans:Do you put steak sauce on your vegetables?!

Question: Vegans:Do you put steak sauce on your vegetables?
Answers:

Actually, yes I do!... O.O

Edit: but only the sauces without anchovies. If you're wondering, I occasionally put A1 on baked potatoes (instead of sourcream and butter) and I'll dip a vegan burger in it too on occasion.

Vegan

No, that just sounds gross, especially since I really have never liked steak sauce anyway.
For the most part, I only put a little Earth Balance & either a tiny bit of garlic salt or all-purpose seasoning on plain veggies, but it depends on the vegetable...some don't need anything except a little fat (EB or olive oil) to moisten them & enhance the flavor.

I don't. I like the taste of vegetables... for some (brocoli, perhaps my least favorite) I may put a little salt... but mostly I like the taste of carrots, green beans, tomatoes, corn, kale, etc, etc...

"If a group of beings from another planet were to land on Earth -- beings who considered themselves as superior to you as you feel yourself to be to other animals -- would you concede them the rights over you that you assume over other animals?" George Bernard Shaw

No. Can't say I've ever seen any.
I use plum sauce, tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce, hot chilli sauce, soy sauce, black bean sauce, satay sauce, mustard sauce, hoi sin sauce, salsa, chutney, pepper, salt, paprika, amongst other things ... but no steak sauce (and no fish sauce nor oyster sauce).

Vegan!

No. I put seasoned pepper on mine. Lawry's brand. It's good. Plus, steak sauce has calories, and I kinda think it would taste odd. I'm not sure if it's vegan either, and I'm sure it has high fructose corn syrup. I generally avoid that as much as possible.

Sorry to diss your eating habits. :(

Vegan

If it is suitable for the Vegetables and Vegetarian or Vegan, why not? Getting hung up on labels is not a good thing. It is the content of the package that matters. I mean does anyone not eat Seitan because its other name is Wheat Meat.

I'm not vegan, I'm vegetarian-but I put spicy A-1 on roasted winter squash. It's good.

No. I'd have to buy steak sauce to use it, and I don't buy steak sauce.

Vegan

I tried it once, but I didn't like it too much. It was a little too...tangy, I guess would be the word. I much prefer teriyaki sauce, or no sauce at all.

not a big fan of steak sauce. i use barbq sauce a lot though.

No

nope.
