I don't think you're vegan. I think you are a troll.
Vegan
I also believe that eating meat is wrong.
But nothing puts other people off going vegan or reconsidering their own beliefs like pushing it onto them.
Eg. When religious members visit houses, how many people actually rethink their faith? The answer is very few.
The best thing to do is show them how delicious vegan food is, cook them some desserts too. Many people believe vegans can't have any food other than salad and fruit for dessert.
The truth is, people are uneducated about veganism. We shouldn't hold this against them, as most vegans didn't know any better either at some point.
If your friends are interested, educate them in a non-argumentative way. People hate being told that their views are wrong.
Please do not push your beliefs on others, no matter how wrong you think they are.
The meat industry is horrific, but shouting at carnivores about it won't change their minds. It'll make them more opposed to veganism (and may hurt your relationship with them.)
Even if you get really frustrated that people would rather live in ignorance, it's not a good advertisement.
The best advert for veganism is to act sweetly, be healthy and cook yummy vegan food for friends, co-workers and neighbours sometimes. (Some recipe ideas are on PETA)
Humans, by definition, are opportunistic omnivores. We eat everything by nature. However, we are closer to herbivores than carnivores. Because of our design, it is much harder naturally to obtain meat than it is plants and our bodies have evolved to run on a primarily plant based diet (were not talking in modern society). Also, many people live healthfully for years as vegetarians, yet if someone ate nothing but meat, they'd be very ill in a matter of a few months. Meat is occasionally ok for humans to eat. Our intelligence is what separates us from animals. Our intelligence also allows us the opportunity to choose a strictly plant based diet, or omnivorous diet. It's a personal choice which one you choose. No one has the right to tell anyone else what to eat. My husband eats meat, I don't. I wouldn't dream of pushing my diet on him. Our agreement is, if he wants to eat meat, he prepares it, and cleans up after it, which he often does. That's what works for us. I don't care that he eats it, I don't mind buying it as long as he tells me what to buy (I know nothing about different cuts and stuff), I just don't want to be touching it.
Vegetarian for 12 years
I personally agree with your opinions, but I know many people don't agree. Just do what YOU feel is right and let everybody else worry about themselves.
I personally believe we were herbivores in the beginning, but we've evolved to being omnivores. Anyway, I rarely ever share my opinion unless someone asks me because my opinion is a little different and unique. Rarely do I hear somebody who believes what I believe! And it really doesn't bother me.
In the end, it's an OPINION. Not a fact. Nobody can say you're right or wrong, so just believe what you want. And let others do the same.
I totally agree! What's wrong with these horrible meat eaters? IT'S MURDER PLAIN AND SIMPLE AND NO HUMANS ARE NOT MEANT TO EAT MEAT IT GOES AGAINST THE NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS. I personally think that we need to start pushing laws that make eating meat illegal to some degree. We can start slowly, making lamb meat illegal or something. Soon, after enough legislation we can make chicken, beef, pork, eggs, milk, etc. illegal and possibly even send the remaining meat-eating murderers to work camps where they will be forced to participate in rigorous labor until they cease to exist. I totally agree with you, OP.
"Everyone should do what I think they should do"
What are you? A Nazi?
Anyone who pushes their beliefs onto others is a bore and a radical nutcase that most people would avoid or make fun of.
I have been avoiding Jehovah Witnesses for years because of this very reason.
They try to shove their beliefs down your throat and are condescending of anyone elses point of view.
Very off putting.
I would certainly learn more about a subject if people simply introduced the idea gently and then let me make up my own mind.
I am happy to pass on my vegan views if people are interested, but I avoid lecturing. So should you.
Although I am beginning to suspect that this may be a troll question!
You're a troll. You're not actually vegan. You are trying to give vegans a bad name. You're just an average di*khead having a lark. So is Robert Paul. Yes, it is sad, Deer Hunter, that there are so many d*c*heads (trolls) in this section.
(Whereas "troll" sounds somewhat sneaky and smart, and hence perhaps encourages people with low self-esteem and low intellignece to aspire to be one, we all know trolls are actually little "d***heads" and so I reckon we should start using that word for them. Or if that word is not acceptable and a bit overused for other situations too, perhaps we could use "dildo" instead.)
Re-writing my above paragraph, then,
You're a dildo. You're not actually vegan. You are trying to give vegans a bad name. You're just an average dildo having a lark. So is Robert Paul. Yes, it is sad, Deer Hunter, that there are so many dildos (dildos) in this section.
I think you are self righteous. First and foremost vegan is not a religion and does not require evangelism. Do not push your views on others, no matter what they are. The more you do it the more people will dislike you. And there are some who will take the opposite position just because you are so argumentative. Simply keep your opinions to yourself unless someone asks you for them
I think you should stop being a pretentious pr*ck and let people live their own lives.
If they ask you a legitimate question, give a legitimate answer, but aside from that, leave it be.
Vegan since age 10.
You're on the Vegetarian section, trolling meat eater. Post a link to this "science," while the science behind humans as herbivores has been posted. Troll
You are a troll, meat eater.
I think you are an idiot. Humans ARE omnivorous. People have a choice over what they eat. I think people like you should be shot, doesn't mean I'm going to force that view on everyone.
U should not tell another person what 2 eat... what I do is try to tell them what they are eating.

I believe you have no right to push your beliefs on others. Do you like it when omnivores try to push their views on you???
People who push their beliefs on others are nothing but obnoxious....regardless of that belief.
Live and let live - people like you are why o get harrassed eith rude questions when I go out to eato
I believe you're a moron..
I think you're a troll. Plain and simple.
Troll.
You let Let each person be true to thy own self
i think you're a troll
As an omni, I think it's great that you push your agenda (I'm not going to call it "beliefs) onto others. All it takes is a little research and people know you're wrong that "veg*ns live longer" "veg*ns are healthier" "humans are herbivores". Once people see how ignorant you are about those, they will turn off anything else you say about animal cruelty or animal rights. So push that propaganda. Push..push..push.
There are a lot of people like you in this section, its sad.
