What can you replace eggs in a cake recipe?!

Question: What can you replace eggs in a cake recipe?
I have a regular cake mix that requires cake mix.

Answers:

you can use mashed banana, applesauce, or tofu. People have used tofu in cake and it comes out great you wouldn't expect it.

they also make egg replacer called Ener-G egg replacer and it's vegan....although I doubt you have any on hand or you wouldn't be asking

I make cake all the time without any eggs, or egg replacer. I use organic whole wheat flour.

But, for those cake mixes, just mush up a banana in a bowl with water until it's soupy, add that to your mix when you are adding the water. Works every time and you really can't taste the banana.

you could type the word cake in the search box of the following websites:

Ground up flax seeds mixed with water. About 1 1/2 tablespoon of ground flax seeds to 1 tablespoon of water makes a good bonding agent with a mild flavor, and will replace one egg.

Three tablespoons of pureed banana for one egg is what I always use, and works quite well.

Applesauce
