Are pineapple tamales vegetarian?!

Question: Are pineapple tamales vegetarian?
I bought them prepared for me to cook them. In the ingredients section it said nothing about it containing lard... However, I am still iffy to eat them?

If there is no lard, gelatin, or chicken, fish, or beef stock, it is vegetarian. I left out meat, because I feel like that is a given. Any of these will be listed in the ingredients section. You are fine.

Do look into checking what brand made it, and what kind of cheese is in it (if there is). Some brands of cheese use rennet, which is young cow stomach.
Rennet is rarely, if ever, listed in the ingredients.

Uhh, pineapples are vegetarians because they don't eat meat, just like how tamales are spanish.

If the ingredients list doesn't contain any products that your variation of vegetarianism prohibits, then you're fine.
