can vegetarians eat animal crackers?!


Question: Can vegetarians eat animal crackers?
I know they can't eat gummy bears cause its an animal and it has a face but can they eat animal crackers? they don't really have a face.

and yes, vegetarians can. and no, vegans can't, the sugar is not vegan, made from bone. probably made with lactose too.



Actually, vegetarians don't eat gummy bears because most of them contain gelatin, which is made by boiling animal skin, bone, and tendon. Whoever told you it was because they had faces was probably just pulling your leg. :) Animal crackers are usually vegetarian, but can occasionally contain lard, glycerin, or even gelatin if they're the frosted variety. The only way to know for sure is to check the ingredients, but for the most part animal crackers are a veg-friendly food.
