Question: Is cellotape vegan (no animal ingredients)?

It is plastic covered with an adhesive, most if not all are chemically made ones, older types of packing tape used a glue that had to be moistened with water, glue to day is not made with animal bones, cartilage or skins, some still use casein a milk derivative, like Elmer's White glue.



If you are concerned about cruelty to animals - I always thought Sellotape or Scotch Tape was made from cellophane which is a plant based product from cellulose. The adhesive on the other hand could be either.
