What kind of jackets are good to keep a vegan warm in the winter?!

Question: What kind of jackets are good to keep a vegan warm in the winter?
Because I'm assuming down jackets are off-limits,
as well as (obviously) leather jackets.

What brands do you wear that have vegan-friendly jackets for the winter?

THANK you..

The same kind that keep non vegans warm. Jackets do not discriminate. Re-phrase the question.

They make synthetic down jackets, but i'm not vegan so idk which are acceptable, if any, and which are not. I know helly hansen makes really good ones, I called the search and rescue team at Vail and is what they are switching to this year when looking for one to get my wife, but idk if they will work for you. I use real down being a vegetarian and not planning on eating it, which if you could use that then I would say canada goose which is what i wear, but that wont for you for sure. They do make some synthetics also i think. Sorry i cant be of more help on this one but someone here will have what you need to stay warm. Good luck :D

I have a burberry warm coat, some Columbia coats, and a Helly Hansen puffer. None are down, leather, silk, wool, or have anything else non-vegan. http://shop.hellyhansen.com/US/item/6114… is similar to my HH.

I'm not a vegan, so I also have two wool coats that I bought years ago. The warmest one is a thinsulate J. Crew coat.

I don't live where it gets below 0 often, so these coats are fine. In fact, the J. Crew coat is too warm for most days.

Try jute with cotton wadding.
You can still be vegan and wear animal based products, its just that most (but not all) vegans are concerned about cruelty to animals.

How about wool? It doesn't kill the animal, and they in fact are more comfortable when they get shaved. Wool is very warm, and all natural. I own several very nice wool coats. There is also always hemp or cotton, which has no animals sources and is still a natural fiber.

There are also lots of synthetic fibers, but they are just that, synthetic. Do you really want woven petroleum products on your skin? I don't, but you might.

dear lord, are you that extreme? haha

i don't know what is polyester made from? i wear that because it retains heat as well as water.

You should buy a $1.5 million dollar armored car with whale penis leather interior.

omG, any jacket that's not been something's skin beforehands.
