How to be a healthy vegetarian ?!

Question: How to be a healthy vegetarian ?
I sort of jumped into being a vegetarian without much though, I just eat when im hungry mostly grains like pasta and bagels with some fruit and beans.

My mom doesn't support me one bit, but it doesnt bother me one bit cause she doesnt support me in anything else i do. She thinks it will make me sick but to tell the truth i feel exactly the same way i did when i did eat meat.

Everyone thinks i wont continue to be a vegetarian but i am determined to prove them wrong, living by the motto "be the change you want to see"

So it would be nice to be directed to some sites where there is sample meal plans and stuff like that or if you have any stories to tell :)

And track your food in a journal. This way you can show mom that you are getting all your nutrients. http://www.kraftrecipes.com/healthy-livi… and use the meal & fitness planner.

You don't need a sample meal plan. You need to know the basics, where to get your nutrition, and how much you need to eat.

You need to make sure you eat lots of veggies, green is best. Fruit is also good so glad to hear you are including these in your diet. Beans are good for protein but you may want to add some eggs (if you still include these in your diet, I do) and soy products to make sure you get enough on the protein side. Don't go too heavy on the carbs, they are good for you and needed but not as nutritious as your veggies and proteins. Try including some smoothies and yogurt and cheese and healthy trail mixes. Bookmark some websites that discuss beginner vegetarianism (Google it, lots out there).

2 liters evian n 4 clementines n 2 blue bottle coffees then 3 fillets brill meuniere.
sundays brunch bruschetta on panera french baguette instead of the fish.

look up recipes for indian food, theres TONS of stuff you could make and its really flavorful. also, dont deprive yourself of dairy products, eat a lot of cheese, milk, and eggs if you think its ok. you protein comes from beans and in indian food, lentils. thats what they use anyway. indian food gives you much more variety. being a vegetarian doesnt make you sick, almost all of the country of india and indians are veg. I think this is a very healthy choice for your life and that your mom needs to do more research on the human body if she's gonna claim this is bad for you.
