Seeing as how this is posted in the vegetarian/ vegan section, I am assuming you are a vegetarian.

You will probably need iron, calcium (especially if you are vegan. But usually you can get this from fortified nondairy milks), vitamin b (complex or b12), vitamin d (if you don't get very much sun in your area), and protein. Protein usually doesn't come in tablets though, so you will have to use some form of protein shake, meal replacer, or whatever you can find at your local vitamin store.

I would probably stay away from multivitamins, unless they are chlorella, spirulina, klamath, or any other type of whole food supplement. Even still, make sure to check that they will give you enough of each necessary nutrient. Other supplements will probably still be necessary.

Make sure to stay away from anything with gelatin or confectioners glaze, as these are animal derivatives! Many brands will say "vegan" or "vegetarian" on the container.

Though I stated many things you will most likely need, it is best to contact your doctor or nutritionalist (even an herbalist, if you plan on using whole food supplements) to find out what your body is in need of.

Vegan, and I have a heavy interest in natural foods and nutrition.
