Why does it bother you when a peskitarian calls themselves a vegetarian?!
Answers:
Because it takes so much commitment to be the real thing, to be a real vegetarian or a real vegan and pescatarians who call themselves that take away from the true meaning of those who are really honest about it, those who really care about all animals. To me, even a fish is beautiful with feelings, all the way up to an elephant whose memory surpasses human memory.
I feel like pescatarians who call themselves vegetarians are fakes just wanting to feel special for doing something 1/2 way.
Here's some definitions:

Real vegan:

Vegan
I don't lose any sleep over it but I do think a Pescatarian looks a bit silly when they say they are vegetarian because trust me, Fish DO feel pain. I think because they do not make a noise when they are suffering, it is easier for people to distance themselves from it. I also think that many pescatarians want to be seen as vegetarians for any number of reasons but cannot commit to giving up fish because it is too much of a commitment. I do accept that there are some that genuinely believe you can be a vegetarian whilst eating fish, although this is a small amount.
Hope this helps

It only irks me if they know the right term and refuse to use it. That goes for anything, really, but especially pesca- and pollotarians. It's just that if they say they're vegetarians and then eat fish or poultry, it makes it more likely that the next time I refuse that on the grounds of being a vegetarian, someone will try to argue with me that that food is vegetarian. It's just kind of a pain. Labels are there for a reason, so let's please use them correctly. :)
It doesn't bother me. It may bother some people because it may cause the wrong idea of a vegetarian eating fish. Or the commitment/sacrifice it means to become a full vegetarian/vegan, it's kind of decreasing the meaning of the name, if you get me.
Because a pescetarian eats seafood MEATS. Why call yourself a vegetarian if you're eating seafood??
Use the correct term just because it's common sense.
Common sense
Because it's factually untrue,
and serves to confuse the people around them about what real vegetarianism ACTUALLY entails,
leading to incessant questions for US to answer.
It doesn't bother me at all because I think they just say that because most people don't know what pescetarian is.
Because its confuses people into thinking vegetarians eat sea animals.
It doesn't bother me either. People can call themselves whatever they please.
It doesn't bother me. I eat what I eat for my own reasons, not to teach anyone else a lesson.
