If I'm eating a salad out at a restaurant I just eat it with olive oil and salt & pepper. I've also requested an entire avocado before to smash and coat the salad before too. Lemon juice would add a little zing, as would vinegar. Squeezing a tomato over the salad would also give you a little "dressing".

For raw vegetables, I use hummus. Guacamole could be interesting as well, depending on what you're dipping into it.

You'd have to be more specific.
Like, do you just want something with less fat than your average dressing/veggie dip, a dressing you can easily make b/c you ran out of store bought, no dressing at all but something else to add flavor to your salad like herbs & such, a vegan dressing/dip, etc. etc.

I like a simple dressing of tamari soy sauce mixed w/ minced fresh garlic and ginger. you can thin the dressing down a little if it is too strong tasting by adding a tiny amount of water.

Try balsamic vinegar and vegetable oil, mixed in even amounts. YUM! Or look at a more detailed recipe, attached.
