Vegetarians: Quorn Products !?!

Question: Vegetarians: Quorn Products !?
I'm a vegetarian and have been dying for a veggie-meat that actually tastes good and the texture isn't weird! I finally found Quorn ! It's delicious :)

My whole family who usually thinks my veggie-meats are weird and gross tried and like it too ! The texture isn't weird and there is no weird taste! I'm just so excited haha ... I sound like a spokesperson...

Anyone else try it? If so, want to share a favorite recipe? thanks :)

Yes, Quorn is my favorite mock meat.

I like the Quorn "chick'n" cutlets with rice, beans, and carrots.

You should try Worthington's Vegetarian Dinner Roast. That one's really good, too. It tastes a lot like turkey. It's kind of expensive, but it has about 10 servings.

Campbell's Mushroom gravy(not to be confused with Heinz) is a good vegan gravy to use with dinner roasts.

I love quorn products but also Linda McCartney does some nice Vegetarian food too. There is loads you can do with it. Curry with the chicken pieces, lasagne and spag bol with the quorn mince, the list is endless. There are actually recipes on the quorn website http://www.quorn.co.uk/Our-Recipes/ I however can't wait until my xmas dinner, where I have either linda's or quorn sausages wrapped in veggie bacon(pigs in blankets) and then as a substitute for turkey, quorn roast, covered with stuffing and then veggie bacon again, it helps to use an egg to bind the stuffing before you attempt to cover the entire roast with it. When you cut the roast you then have a layer or bacon, stuffing and quorn :-) Invented that myself haha
