I went vegetarian when I was 12 and honestly it's pretty easy. You WILL have to learn to cook some decent meals, however. Relying on Morning Star TV dinners and fake meats won't be very good for your health.
I recommend educating yourself as much as possible about vegetarianism before you approach your parents. The more you know, the smarter and more mature you'll seem. To start, you need to choose which type of vegetarian you want to be. There are several different types.
-Lacto vegetarians don't eat meat or eggs, but do eat dairy products (milk, cheese, ect)
-Ovo vegetarians don't eat meat or dairy products, but do eat eggs
-Lacto-ovo vegetarians don't eat meat, but do eat dairy and eggs
-Vegans don't eat anything from animals, only plant-based foods. No meat, dairy, eggs, or animal byproducts
"Lacto" means dairy, "ovo means egg. And when I say no meat, I mean no fish, poultry, beef, pork, turkey, ham, ect.

After that, you can make a list of the foods you can eat in a word document. If you decide to be Lacto-ovo vegetarian (the most popular type), here are some extremely easy meals you can make on your own:
-Spaghetti and tomato sauce
-Any type of sandwich (PB&J, veggie sandwiches, ect)
-Scrambled/fried eggs
-Oatmeal
-French Toast
-Vegetable Stir-fry
-Tomato/vegetable soups

Those are just a few that I thought of. The possibilities are endless. After a while it becomes natural to you and I promise after a while you'll NEVER think "if only I ate meat, this would be easier".
Morning Star and Boca products are good meat-replacements for starters. They are basically fake meats, made from soy and vegetables. But these tend to be processed, so I wouldn't recommend eating them excessively.

Hope that helps:)

Do some good research first. Get some good recipes. Then volunteer to cook for your family - gradually change their meals and yours. Don't scare them by saying you are going vegetarian, just say you want some healthy choices.

It is better for you to gradually change rather than go straight vegetarian.

CRUST LESS QUICHE - this is lovely with a fresh salad.

Ingredients; 1 small chopped onion, thin slices of pumpkin, sweet potato, zuchinni, mushrooms...... (In fact any vegetable),4 eggs, 3/4 cup pastry mix, 3/4 cup grated cheese, 1 cup milk, chives or parsley, salt and pepper.

Method: Layer slices of vegetable in a deep pie dish / quiche that has been greased. Mix other ingredients together and pour over the vegetables. Cook in oven 180'Cfor 40 - 50 mins. Shorter if a small plate.
Yummy cold too!!!

You do realize that animals are killed harvesting the vegetables and grains you eat, right?

Hey :)
So, I'm fourteen as well. I became a vegetarian when I was 12 years old and vegan when I was thirteen.
My parents weren't too thrilled with the idea either.
My biggest tip to you is:
LEARN TO COOK. Seriously. I cook every single meal that I consume. (Except maybe once every few months when I go down to the veggie restaurant... yum!)
If your parents aren't willing to make a seperate meal, which they're probably not, you're going to need to cook. If you go to YouTube you can find some tutorials on how to cook some basic things, and you'll eventually get better. (Im in the middle of making vegan lasagna... yum!)
That is going to be one of the only ways to convince your parents.
Hope I helped some.
Good luck hun :D
?

Been there myself<3
