Question: Are Mcdonalds french fries O.K for vegetarians to eat in Canada?
ive heard rumors theyve changed oils and stuff but id like to know forsure and with a source please.

alsoooo, if they arent, what fast food chains are ok?

They are OK. Fried foods are not the best foods.

McDonald's fries their french fries and hash browns in vegetable oil BUT they add beef flavoring and milk to the potatoes, before they are sent to the restaurants.

The only McDonald's restaurants that don't use beef are the ones in India.

Burgerking makes vegan french fries, however. They're cooked in a fries only section and have natural flavors from plant sources.

They also have a BK Veggie burger.

I've heard that they have beef flavoring, you can never really be sure unless you ask them.
Anyways mcdonalds is horrible for you. you should make home made fries instead.



NO most fast foods fries (and restaurant fries as well) have a small amount of real beef-derived flavoring. So it has a tiny amount of beef.
McDonald's defintely uses beef flavoring



I've heard McDonald's puts subtle beef flavoring into their fries to make people subconsciously want more meat
