Do fruits and vegetables have glucose in them?!

Question: Do fruits and vegetables have glucose in them?
examples of fruits: Banana, Oranges, or mangoes.
examples of vegetables, Salad, Spinach, or lettuce?

Answers:

Yes, fruits and veggies do have glucose. Fruit does contain more glucose than veggies.
But the thing to understand is that fruit contains NATURAL sugars, not additives that you would find in candy, juices, etc.
So in that respect, the sugars in fruits are pretty much healthy for you.
Just keep in mind: The sweeter the fruit, the more sugar it contains.
Oranges and mangoes contains more sugar than does bananas.
The veggies you mentioned contain more water than sugar. Veggies are not a significant source of glucose.

Actually fruits have fructose in them. It's a bit different because, unlike glucose, it has to be converted a couple of times before it becomes sugar. But it can still drive your blood sugar up just like a candy bar. White sugar from cane or high fructose corn syrup from corn or fruits, it's all eventually glucose/sugar.

From the link: "Is corn syrup fructose different than fructose found in other foods?
No, all fructose works the same in the body, whether it comes from corn syrup, cane sugar, beet sugar, strawberries, onions, or tomatoes. Only the amounts are different. For example, a cup of chopped tomatoes has 2.5 grams of fructose, a can of regular (non-diet) soda supplies 23 grams, and a super-size soda has about 62 grams."

Yes, they have glucose. Glucose is sugar. Fruits have more than vegetables.
But these are natural sugars. Not the added sugars like in candy, pop, and desserts. These sugars don't harm your or turn into fat. That is why it's perfectly fine to eat them.

fruits have sugar in them, but it's typically fructose rather than glucose. (Anything that ends in -ose is a sugar)
Your body will convert the sugars in fruit into glucose.

Vegetables are fairly low in sugar.
