Amino acid capsules, is it necessary?!

Question: Amino acid capsules, is it necessary?
I'm vegetarian for almost 3 years, and I never took amino acid. Is is bad for health to not provide a body with amino acid protein?

Answers:

There is plenty of protein in food. You don't need to take an amino acid supplement.

Good vegetarian sources of protein include whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, tofu, milk, eggs, etc.

It would be very bad to not provide a body with protein, but as long as you are getting enough calories, and eating more than just candy, you will have enough protein.

If you've been a healthy vegetarian for almost three years, I would think you've got your diet under control. Unless you're having some problems, why would you add another supplement to your diet?

It's completely unnecessary. You get amino acids from food.
